I’m Maria Inês and, in this Writing Studio, I work as a content creator, writer, and communication strategist, while also providing executive assistance to CEOs, entrepreneurs, and authors. I have 15 years of experience in international contexts, with a focus on the German market.

What can you expect from me? Clarity, confidentiality, method, dedication and commitment.

From early on, words were my constant companions: my first was “Luz” (“Light”), when I pointed to the kitchen ceiling. I grew up within the warm walls of my grandparents’ home, where an attic became the refuge of my imagination.

I have worked in different corporate environments with international markets, across Customer Service, Finance, and Sales, encountering very diverse realities, from services to industry, with a constant emphasis on the cultural understanding of the written message.

In 2024, I was invited to give a Guest Lecture at ISCA-UA (University of Aveiro) on the importance of caring for brand communication. From there, Yellow Bird took its first firm steps in corporate communication: uniting clarity and humanity so that the right message reaches the right people at the right time.

Marvão and the Birds

People say Marvão is the “eagles’ nest” and that “from Marvão, you can see the eagles from behind.” Those words inspired me to create Yellow Bird. For those who don’t know, Marvão is a medieval town in the Alto Alentejo, in the Portalegre region.

Marvão is more than a place: it is a source of personal clarity. It means having a broad, wise view of life being above the clouds and, with that, reaching genuine spiritual and human growth. It is to fly with the birds, in full freedom.
